iOS photography app Camera+ has just received an update, bringing it to version 3.0. There aren’t any drastic changes — instead the new version brings with it a number of smaller, but very welcome, improvements. Chief among them is the ability to share a picture across multiple services at the same time, much like you’d find in competitors like Instagram. There’s also a new Workflow option, where you can switch between taking a single picture or multiple pictures in a row before editing and sharing.

The camera itself now lets you lock both the focus and exposure, and the user interface and “clarity” filter have received some tweaks as well. There are plenty more changes — including a menu option for the app’s recently reinstated VolumeSnap feature — and the developers have also introduced new APIs so that Camera+ functionality can be added to both mobile apps and websites (iOS apps like WordPress, Tweetbot, and Foodspotting have already taken advantage). The update is free to existing users, but if you haven’t picked it up yet Camera+ is currently on sale for $0.99.
