Back in December Cablevision promised its customers that the HBO Go app would be available to its customers “in the next few months.” March definitely qualifies and Verge reader tomance wrote in to let us know it’s now live with a simple click of the “Optimum” option as you sign up. Along with HBO, the cable provider is also offering MAX Go — both of which are available on PCs, iOS devices, Android devices, and Roku. The Xbox doesn’t have an HBO Go app yet, but earlier today it updated everybody by releasing a teaser video (embedded below), and it should be coming on April 1st. Customers should have access to HBO’s back catalog, so there’s no time like the present to get caught up on True Blood before the fifth season begins.
