Google is celebrating World Forest Day today by giving the public a rare peek inside the Amazon rainforest, courtesy of its Street View cameras. Although exotic, this trip to the Amazon is hardly unusual for Google’s Street View team. Having already explored plenty of inhospitable environments around the globe, Google has even gone indoors in its effort to visually document every single nook, cranny and thingy on our planet. We haven’t yet decided whether we’re more amazed by the Google Art Project or today’s Amazon tour, but we promise to keep looking at both long enough to figure it out.
