Comcast Xfinity On Demand rolling out to TiVo Premiere subscribers in SF Bay Area

As expected, Comcast's Xfinity On Demand service is now rolling out to TiVo Premiere subscribers. Existing Comcast and TiVo Premiere customers in the San Francisco Bay Area will have the update pushed to their DVRs over the next few weeks, and TiVo says that the service will come to other US markets "in the coming months." It's the first time Comcast has made Xfinity available to TiVo users, though you shouldn't take this as another reason to cut the cable — you'll still have to maintain a Comcast subscription to access the on-demand content. If you're outside California entirely, you can sign up for notifications at TiVo's site to receive information on when the service will become available elsewhere.
