Fortunately, you can have the best of both worlds with Google BBS, a project from designer and developer Norbert Landsteiner. Inspired by a video from Squirrel-Monkey.com, Google BBS is an actual working front-end to Google’s search engine, rendered in the style of a 1980s bulletin board — complete with an ASCII art splash page.
