The 4.0 update has been available in beta form since December 2011 and Microsoft has started to write to beta testers to inform them that the testing program will end on April 26th, following the release of a final version. Although it’s not appearing on Windows Update for most people just yet, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed to ZDNet that the update will be provided automatically to existing users — it’s also available on Microsoft’s Download Center for manual installation on XP, Vista, and Windows 7 machines.
