The International Federation of Photographic Art has come up with a clever way of hiding messages in video screens. As you can see in the video below, there’s a mysterious TV set with a seemingly random array of red, green, and blue squares flashing. To decode the image, just follow the instructions in the video — if you’ve got a camera with manual controls, set the aperture to f/5.6, and set the shutter speed to one second. If you don’t have a tripod, just try to hold as still as possible, and you’ll see that all those colored squares meld together to give you a photo. It’s a pretty neat effect, but if you don’t have the photographic equipment to pull it off, check this video for all the spoilers.
