Last week Verizon detailed a list of changes coming to the Motorola Droid 4 via a forthcoming software update, which was made available earlier today. If you missed the news, the patch updates the device’s firmware to version 6.13.219 and adds a number of noteworthy tweaks and alleged fixes, including improvements to keyboard backlighting, battery life, and touchscreen performance — reducing lockouts and sluggishness. The update is approximately 18MB and can be downloaded and installed through the Droid 4’s settings menu.
