The rumored Curve 9320 is poised to become RIM's next assault on the smartphone low end — one of the places where it hopes to keep making a splash over the coming months, particularly in emerging markets. Though RIM hasn't officially announced the device, it's been leaked pretty thoroughly at this point and it's exactly what you'd expect: a minimalist, traditionally-designed BlackBerry with the usual portrait QWERTY trim running OS 7.1.

We’ve now received press images of the device for our best look yet. The materials look simple — as you’d expect for a device in the Curve range, as opposed to the higher-end Bold line — and although the form factor won’t appeal to anyone other than BlackBerry traditionalists, the flowing curves arguably do a decent job of keeping up with the kind of industrial design you’d expect in 2012.
As for a proper 9320 announcement, BlackBerry World — which happens next week in Orlando — would be an obvious choice. We’ll be there, covering it live.
