Although the Android version isn't specified, we can probably expect it to still be running Gingerbread like the US variant, with an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich somewhere in its future.

Motorola promises a laughably long 17.6 hours of talktime over a 3G network with the RAZR Maxx, which is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor plus 1GB of RAM. Video playback is rated to last for over 16 hours as well. The thin Super AMOLED display up front helps to keep this phone a very reasonable 8.99mm in thickness, so you’re not sacrificing too much in order to have such a massive battery. The only issue we have is why it’s taking Motorola so long to bring this device to international markets — Verizon’s Droid RAZR Maxx has been out for over two months already and now Moto is tacking on an extra month to the waiting time.
