This is a recording of Implicate, Explicate, an installation by the New York-based artist Rose Kallal that was shown at The Hidden Noise in Glasgow, Scotland earlier this month. The installation uses overlapping loops of 16mm film on three projectors, and the footage is a mix of Kallal’s own shots with 3D fractal simulations. The soundtrack is a collaboration between Kallal and Mark Pilkington of Strange Attractor Press.
