Spotify app updated for Boxee with search and shuffle

Boxee says that its Spotify app has been gained search capability, which allows users to find tracks, artists, or albums in Spotify's catalog. Spotify made its way to the Boxee Box last year for paying subscribers, but it lacked some critical features — like the basic ability to search for music. The update also adds sharing notifications like those found in the desktop app, that tell users when friends share a song, album, or playlist. And finally, users will now be able to shuffle music from their library. One more small step in the march toward basic usability.
