It's that time of year when retailers start pushing promotions for "dads and grads," and you know what that means: discounts on game consoles. The Microsoft Store has kicked things off a bit early by taking $50 off a few Xbox 360 bundles. The cheapest one you'll be able to get is the base 250GB kit, which is being offered for $249.99. If you're looking for a bit more you can get the 250GB Kinect Holiday Bundle for $349.99, which includes Kinect Adventures and Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do. Lastly, you can splurge and get the custom-painted Kinect Star Wars bundle for $399.99, which comes with Kinect Star Wars, a 320GB hard drive, and, of course, the R2-D2-inspired console and C-3PO controller. To sweeten the deal a bit more, they all have free shipping in the US and you can pick up a 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription for $44.99 — a $15 savings — with the purchase of any of the console bundles.
