PopCap has announced Bejeweled HD, bringing the classic match-three puzzle game to the iPad for the first time. The game features four modes of play, Retina display support for the new iPad, and Game Center integration. It’s not the first Bejeweled game on iOS — there’s a separate iPhone version, and Bejeweled Blitz came to both iPhone and iPad after making its debut on Facebook — but this is the first time the original flavor of the game’s been made for the big screen. The game doesn’t appear to be out in the US yet, but is rolling out across time zones of the world as we speak. It’ll cost $3.99 once it does go live.
