Pentax hasn't released a DSLR in well over a year, instead choosing to concentrate on the mirrorless K-01, but it looks like the entry-level K-r could be getting a replacement soon enough. A listing in a catalog from French retailer Boulanger (spotted by a user of the PentaxOne.fr forums) appears to reveal the 16-megapixel K-30, which has 1080p video, can shoot 4 frames per second, and has a rugged, weather-sealed build. The listing also says that the camera can take AA batteries as well as a rechargeable pack, though it's unclear if that refers to a K-r-style adapter or a built-in slot. It'll apparently ship for €799.99 with an 18-55mm kit lens, and while there's no release date listed we'd expect it to be coming soon enough if catalogs have already been through the printers.
