Dell has just unveiled two additions to its Inspiron brand, with new special edition versions of the R line. The new iterations of the 14R and 15R will feature an anodized aluminum exterior, mSATA solid state drive devices, up to 3rd generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processors, and optional high resolution displays. Prices haven’t been revealed, though Dell says that the duo will have an “accessible” price tag and will be launching in select Asian countries today before coming to additional regions over the next few weeks.

As part of the announcement the company also revealed two new desktops: the XPS 8500 and Vostro 470. The new XPS includes USB 3.0, mSATA SSD options, either an Intel Core i5 or i7 quad-core processor, and graphics options that include a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 620, 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7570, 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7770, and 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7870. Meanwhile, the Vostro includes the same processor options and USB 3.0, and comes packed with either a Nvidia GeForce GT 620 or 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 DDR5. The two desktops will start at $749 and $549, respectively, and you can pick up both now from Dell’s website.

And those looking to pick up an Alienware X51 might want hold off a bit, as Dell also announced that the desktop will be getting updated with a Core i7 processor option and 1600MHz memory. The company says the new version is coming “soon.”
