Just a few days ago Best Buy leaked the existence of a new solar-powered iPad keyboard from Logitech, and today the manufacturer has made it official. As previously revealed, the Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio costs $129.99, connects to either an iPad 2 or a third generation iPad via Bluetooth, and features solar cells that power the keyboard, but not the tablet itself. The keyboard also acts as a case and stand, and includes two different viewing positions — one where the keys are easily accessible, and another for viewing media in which only the first row is available for managing playback. There’s still no exact release date for the keyboard, but Logitech says that it’s coming to both the US and Europe this month. In the meantime, you can currently pre-order one from the company’s site.
