As Apple migrates its customers from the soon-to-be-shuttered MobileMe to its iCloud service, it’s trying to make as few waves as possible, even giving away copies of Snow Leopard in order to push upgrades to the iCloud-compatible OS X 10.7. Now the company is extending its free 20GB of extra online storage offer until September 30th, giving MobileMe customers an extra three months of the premium treatment beyond the service’s expiration date. MobileMe included 20GB of online storage in its $99 annual subscription price, but users were able to buy up to 60GB of extra space from Apple; those that did were offered 50GB of extra iCloud storage until the end of June, and that extra space is being extended until September 30th as well.
