Last month we managed to check out a trio of upcoming Toshiba tablets, and today one of them is finally available to purchase: the Excite 10. The 16GB version of the slim, 10.1-inch tablet is listed as in stock at a few online retailers — including both Toshiba’s site and Amazon — where it sells for $449.99. 32GB and 64GB models are also coming for $529.99 and $649.99, though neither appears to be in stock just yet. No matter what version you get, though, the tablet runs Ice Cream Sandwich, is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, supports Bluetooth 3.0, and has a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing one. It also includes a 1280 x 800 Gorilla Glass display and offers around 10 hours of battery life. The device looks to be a big improvement over the Excite 10 LE in terms of build quality, though if you’re looking for a similar product in a different form factor you’ll have to wait a bit — both the Excite 7.7 and Excite 13 are expected to go on sale on June 10th.
