Motorola is updating its MotoACTV smart watch to support the viewing of Facebook and Twitter posts. Along with the new social integration the update adds extra heart rate choices for fitness zones, “more flexible” workout planning, easier Wi-Fi setup, and better views for post-workout maps. The update for the recently announced MotoACTV Golf Edition also includes a number of new views and options for the Golf app.

To get the new features you’ll have to tether your MotoActv to a PC or Mac which will prompt you to download and apply the update. Facebook and Twitter integration, in addition to the software update, require Android plug-ins which you can download from Google Play.
