If you were looking to pick up a new MacBook Pro with Retina display, you’ll have to wait. Though it’s been on sale since yesterday, the new Pro now says it will ship in 2 to 3 weeks, and it’s not eligible for in-store pickup. That likely means the first batch has sold out despite its substantial price tag. It’s apparently been delayed since last night, so people who were stopped by Apple’s site outage don’t need to worry about having missed out. This is also the only one of Apple’s new computers to be out of stock, which makes sense given that it’s by far the biggest refresh we saw yesterday. In any case, some delayed gratification is in order for all those pixels.
