At its grand PC unveiling event today, Vizio announced that it will be creating a number of “experience stores” that it will bring to a number of locations, including Microsoft stores, college campuses, and events like SXSW. Vizio says that it won’t be selling products at these stores, opting to tease consumers with impressions of its new products. The effort is similar to those made by other electronics manufacturers like Samsung, which has opened its own experience stores in select locations, and Apple, which sells products in its own branded areas at Best Buy.
