iRobot’s new Roomba 790 is the first to come with a wireless remote control, meaning that you can actually direct the little robot to a mess you need cleaned up from across the house. Like previous models in the 700 series, the 790 has touch pad controls, a system to schedule cleanings, and is designed to have longer battery life than the 500 series. The “wireless control center” is a much-needed addition to the Roomba, and is dead useful for cleaning up a particular spill (or for scaring the dog). The Roomba 790 is available now for $699.99.
