Sprint has begun processing a $19 million settlement with customers suing the company over having inappropriate fees applied their bills. The case was filed in Newark, NJ and involves customers enrolled in Sprint’s “Everything Messaging” plan who received extra charges for picture messaging despite being entitled to “...unlimited nationwide text, picture and video messaging.” According to Reuters, the court is meeting on the 16th of July to approve the settlement, which will see Sprint offering service credits, fee waivers, gift cards, and cash to affected customers.
