HTC’s Evo 4G LTE may be our top smartphone pick on Sprint, but Google Wallet users have had no end of trouble on the device. As of last night, however, that may be over. Phandroid says it’s gotten multiple reports that Wallet service is back up, with users able to add card information, sign up, or make payments. We haven’t been able to get Wallet working here in the office even with the latest updates, but we’ve reached out to Sprint and Google for comment.

Although some users were told that “Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device / carrier” in error messages, Google has previously confirmed that the problem is due to a software bug and that it is working on a fix with HTC and Sprint. That was almost a week ago, so hopefully users are seeing the first fruits of their labor.
