Verizon has traditionally been pretty cozy with Skype, baking Skype support into a number of its phones in recent years, but today it’s making new friends: video-chat provider Oovoo has announced a partnership with Verizon to bring its app to select 4G LTE devices. Oovoo says the app is compatible with the Android 4.0 versions of the Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx, and that video calling works over 4G, 3G, and Wi-Fi connections. Owners of the RAZR and RAZR Maxx with ICS can install the app by selecting the “Video Calling” app icon, or by grabbing it from the Google Play store now.
