Advertising can be a nuisance, but it also has the power to take you back in time — as this massive Flickr album filled with classic video game ads proves. The album is nostalgic for two reasons. First, there's the games themselves, as many of us have fond memories of playing titles like Shinobi, Earthworm Jim, or even those awful Tiger LCD handhelds. But for those that grew up with gaming magazines, it's also a great way to relive the glory days of the medium, when even the ads were entertaining. And if you're anything like me, you might just get the urge to break out your old Neo Geo Pocket Color for a few rounds of Card Fighters Clash.
