Samsung’s booth at Computex Taipei has an interesting curio — a prototype Series 5 Hybrid PC with a magnetic dock that runs Windows 8. The company isn’t revealing much in the way of specs right now, but its interest in the form factor is notable following a huge number of similar Windows 8 devices from Asus and Acer yesterday. This one looks to be around 11 inches in size, and beyond the hinge there aren’t many surprises in terms of industrial design, though we did notice a slot for a stylus along with front and rear cameras. Unfortunately we’re not yet able to take the Series 5 Hybrid out of its glass enclosure to see exactly how sturdy that magnetic hinge will prove, but we’ll let you know if any more details become apparent throughout the course of the show.
