Microsoft launched its 4GB Xbox 360 console with a Kinect for $99 early last month at its own Microsoft Stores across the US, but the company is expanding the deal to Best Buy and select GameStop stores later this month. The $99 deal requires a two-year subscription at $14.99 and comes with access to Xbox Live Gold. Microsoft describes the expansion to the new stores as the next part of its “pilot program” for the offer, limited in timing and numbers.

Those interested in the offer can cancel and return their console for a full refund within 30 days, though the first month’s subscription fee of $14.99 will not be refunded. There’s also an early termination fee for those wanting to cancel within the two-year subscription: $250 in months one through three, which drops to $240 in month four, and it then drops by $12 every month following.
