It’s quite the day for custom phone colors, as Sprint has officially announced that a white version of the HTC Evo 4G LTE will be coming on July 15th. That’s right in line with this leaked document, and the price was right too: it’s $199.99 on the standard two-year contract, same as the current black version. There’s no sign of it yet on Sprint’s site, but it’ll likely show up as a separate color option on the main Evo 4G LTE purchase page. Sadly, that winning touch of red on the back may not be in attendance, as Sprint says the phone will come with a “matching silver kickstand and aluminized back plate.” It will, however, be coming with Android 4.0, just like its darker counterpart.
