Less than a month after its 165TB update, Bing Maps has added 215TB of new data to its service. The imagery spans across the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Tokyo. Consisting of 1.1 million files, the latest publication covers 230,004 square kilometers in total. The update powers Bing’s Bird’s Eye feature which lets you view stadiums in New York or Disneyland in Tokyo at a 45 degree “bird’s eye” view. The latest update brings the total of Bird’s Eye imagery up to 302TB, spanning 1,388,593 square kilometers.
