Hulu has agreed a deal with the BBC to co-produce a new season of UK comedy The Thick of It, marking the streaming service’s first international co-production agreement. As part of the deal Hulu will have exclusive US rights to premiere the popular political satire, which has already spawned three seasons and a feature length movie, In The Loop. Hulu has also started to offer access to past seasons of the show through its website.

The show will continue to be made in-house at the BBC, but will now be credited as produced “in association with Hulu.” The BBC has previously co-produced shows with US companies like Discovery and HBO.
