In an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, scientist and 90s television host Bill Nye hinted that a return of his popular PBS Kids show, Bill Nye the Science Guy, may be on the horizon. Nye says that he is considering creating new episodes of the show, but that “it would have to be with the right producers, and it would have to be a less unfavorable contract.” When asked if he would consider creating the show independently, either on YouTube or another site, Nye said to “stay tuned ;-).” The educational show spanned five seasons and produced 100 episodes, and is the winner of several Emmy Awards. Nye says that the show “was a unique time in TV history” and that “it was exciting to be part of it.”
