If you had a few billion in the bank, what would you buy? That’s the question New York Times columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin is asking in relation to Apple. While we have no idea whether or not Apple is even considering a major acquisition, Sorkin has taken it upon himself to provide a few suggestions, companies that he believes Apple CEO Tim Cook “may want to consider” — including the likes of Nuance, Path, Sprint, and RIM. Another suggestion is Twitter, which the Times previously reported to be a target of Apple’s, though we’re not quite convinced. Of course, this is all just guesswork for now — though educated guesswork — but who doesn’t like trying to predict what Apple will do next?
