Verizon’s Viewdini app has moved beyond its LTE roots and is now available for Apple’s latest iOS devices, regardless of carrier. Previously available exclusively for Verizon’s 4G Android tablets or smartphones, Viewdini provides users a single interface to search for video content across multiple services like Netflix and Hulu Plus. Once located, content can be viewed through the streaming services’ native apps. Since videos were not streamed directly through Viewdini, the LTE requirement was questionable, but it seems that Verizon has finally come its senses. While the Android version of the app is still limited to Verizon subscribers, the iOS app can be downloaded now by anyone with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 4.3 or later.
