We’ve been waiting for Samsung’s new Galaxy Note tablet to arrive since it plastered banners for it all over Mobile World Congress in February, and now it’s here: at its “major” Galaxy launch event today, the company has just officially launched the Galaxy Note 10.1, the larger-screened successor to the Galaxy Note with a bit of Galaxy Tab DNA. As expected, the tablet features a 10.1-inch screen, Samsung’s proprietary Wacom-based S Pen stylus system, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM, running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz. You can get your hands on the new Wi-Fi versions tomorrow in the US, at a price of $499 for 16GB of storage, or $549 for 32GB, but if you’re looking for mobile network capabilities you’ll have to hold off a little longer — Samsung has yet to announce pricing and availability for the HSPA+ models.
