Starbucks isn’t the only coffee joint that lets you pay with your phone — today Dunkin’ Donuts has launched its own payment app for both iPhone and Android. The free app lets you pay in-store or at the drive-thru with a scannable virtual gift card housed on your smartphone, and you can add funds using either a credit card or PayPal. But in addition to letting you buy a coffee or donut with your phone, the app also includes a gifting feature, so you can send friends and family anywhere from $2 to $100 to spend on caffeine and sugar — the gifts can be sent either via text, email, or Facebook. You can also use the app to find the nearest location to you and find out how many calories are in all those munchkins you just ate. It’s available now from both the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
