Apple has just announced that Bob Mansfield, Apple’s SVP of hardware engineering, will remain with the company despite an earlier announcement that he would retire. Apple has also announced two promotions: Craig Federighi, VP of Mac software engineering, and Dan Riccio, VP of hardware engineering, have both been promoted to senior vice presidents who will report to CEO Tim Cook and serve on the company’s executive management team.
