According to sources familiar with the company, Samsung is planning to launch a pair of new Windows 8 tablets: the Ativ Smart PC and Ativ Smart PC Pro. The 11.6-inch tablets each come with a keyboard dock and support for Samsung’s S Pen input technology for writing and drawing on their displays. The S Pen has 1,024 levels of sensitivity and works with the pre-loaded S Note app. The new tablets are also said have support for 10-finger multitouch on their Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel displays. The Smart PC is expected to have an Intel Atom processor, while the Smart PC Pro should use an Intel Core i5 chip.
