Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1, the bigger-screened successor to the Galaxy Note, will go on sale in Hong Kong on August 16th, according to a company press release. The 3G tablet will retail for HKD 4,998 (roughly $644), while its Wi-Fi sibling should be joining it later this month. Samsung says that an LTE model will be “available soon.”

With a 10.1-inch screen as its headline feature, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also includes Samsung’s proprietary S Pen stylus input system, which allows for fully pressure-sensitive writing and drawing. It will ship with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device is expected to be available globally by the end of this month.
