Russian feminist punk collective Pussy Riot is releasing an ebook this month in order to raise funds for its legal battles. Last month three members of the group were sentenced to two years in jail for “hooliganism” after recording a protest video inside a Moscow cathedral. The ebook, called PUSSY RIOT! A Punk Prayer for Freedom, is being published through the Feminist Press and features letters written from prison, courtroom statements, poems, and songs, along with contributions from the likes of Yoko Ono, members of Le Tigre, and Karen Finley. It’ll cost $2.99 and will be available for Kindle, Nook, and iOS devices on September 21st.
