Create a book from Wikipedia articles using new Wikimedia tool

Earlier this week, Wikimedia launched a new web tool to make books out of Wikipedia articles. Within your browser, simply activate the book creator on Wikipedia’s sidebar and add articles using a navigation box at the top of the page, or add whole collections of articles using the category page. The articles and chapters can be reordered before the book is finalized and exported as a PDF, OpenOffice, or EPUB file. For those who want to memorialize their creations, the aggregated books can even be ordered, printed, and bound by PediaPress. Like Instapaper and Pocket, this new feature affords users the ability to read articles offline, but provides a greater array of organizational, aggregation, and design benefits. It also opens the doors for some pretty amusing, albeit confusing, literature generated by the random article button.
