Google is launching a new Chrome Beta channel for Android today, giving developers and enthusiasts a chance to check out the newest additions as early as possible. Bugs are to be expected (finding them is kind of the point), but as long as you’re ok with that, you can download the app directly from Google Play. You’ll need the link, though, since Google has chosen not to list the app in Play search results.

Users that download right now can look forward to improved Octane benchmark performance of 25 to 30 percent, and some new HTML5 features like CSS Filters. If you’d like to take The Chrome Beta for a spin, it’s available today for phones and tablets running Android 4.0 or later.
