Twitter is rolling out a small update today that changes how photos are viewed from a profile page or in search results. Previously, clicking on an image in a timeline would bring up a standalone page to view a larger size; now, a large photo box will appear without requiring users to leave the page. The update also includes a change to users’ media galleries, which will now include videos from Vine, YouTube, Vimeo, and other video partners. Finally, Twitter has also expanded conversations on pages for individual tweets, showing more replies in each thread. Today’s tweaks follow a January 22nd update that redesigned embedded tweets to show retweets, favorites, and more content.
