HP is announcing a pile of new monitors at CES, and two are bringing something new to the game. The U160 is the company’s first USB-powered display — a 15-inch 1366 x 768 monitor that weighs in at 3.4 pounds, measures a svelte 1.2 inches thick, and connects to your computer with a single cable. If you’re in the market for a portable second “flip and fold” display for your laptop, you’ll be able to pick this up later this month for $179 — roughly the same size as competing units like Toshiba’s 15.6-inch Mobile Monitor.

The second is HP’s luxe Envy 27. At $499, you’ll get a 27-inch 1080p IPS display with Beats Audio, which in this case means an upward-angled sound bar. We’re not sure whether it delivers on the promise of an “immersive audiovisual experience,” but it’s loud, and we like the look. HP says the Envy 27 will be available in stores on February 3rd.
