The last year and a half hasn’t been kind to soap opera fans — All My Children and One Life to Live both went off the air after more than 40 years and over 11,000 episodes each, but both will be coming back to life over the internet. According to Deadline, both shows will return as “anchor” programs on The Online Network, with some of the key creative team behind the shows having already signed deals — including show creator Agnes Nixon. There’s no word on what cast members will be involved, but let’s be honest — that was never why anyone was watching in the first place. Sadly, there also aren’t any details on exactly when the shows will be back on air, but at least we know they’re be back soon.
