The company has announced that PayPal Checkout will now accept prepaid gift cards, meaning you can use them at any of the online stores that utilize PayPal’s services, just as you would with other payment methods like credit or debit cards. “After months of research and investigations, we discovered a patent-pending and innovative way to allow the usage of prepaid gift cards so that you can seamlessly apply them to the purchase of products and services anywhere PayPal is accepted,” PayPal’s Ed Lee explains. The feature is available now, just in time for the busy shopping season.
