Apple TV’s “channel” lineup doesn’t quite match Roku’s just yet, but the amount of programming is expanding yet again today. Apple has added new apps for Watch ABC — the network’s TV Everywhere offering — Crackle, Bloomberg, and Korean channel KORTV. All four are available now to Apple TV owners in the United States. Crackle, a streaming service owned by Sony, offers a catalog of movies, TV shows, and original programming that can be viewed for free. Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series is a standout; the Seinfeld star drives around interviewing other comedians like David Letterman, Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, and Sarah Silverman. Apple routinely been adding new content sources to its Apple TV set-top box in recent months, with highlights including HBO Go, Watch ESPN, PBS, Vevo, and other channels.
