With Destiny, Bungie is finally embarking on a brand new project after devoting years to the Halo franchise. This “shared-world shooter,” to be released as the developer’s first game under Activision, has afforded Bungie’s staff an opportunity to craft an all-new story and invent captivating characters, enemies, and set pieces that you’ll encounter within that world. Polygon recently caught a glimpse of concept art for Destiny, which showcases early mockups of Guardians — the role players will assume in the game — and some formidable-looking villains.
