The classic Duke Nukem 3D has been a mobile game for some time, and now side-scrolling predecessor Duke Nukem II is following suit. 3D Realms and development studio Interceptor Entertainment have posted a trailer for an iOS version of Duke Nukem II to YouTube, showing off revamped art in “256 eye-popping colors” and a new soundtrack for the 32 original levels. According to Polygon, the game will cost $1.99 when it’s released sometime in April of this year, celebrating the game’s 20th anniversary.

Besides Duke Nukem II, Interceptor is currently working on a remake of 1994 Apogee/3D Realms title Rise of the Triad, and it once planned to release a fan-made Duke Nukem 3D remake called Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded, though that project stalled due to apparent conflicts with property owner Gearbox.
